Entry fee:
Entry fee is $25 for all categories. (Cash or EFPOS on the day only).
Registration:
Registration will take place at the Days Bay Pavilion
From 8.30am to 9:30am
We’ll provide race packs and numbers will be issued at this time.
Numbers may be limited to a maximum of 200.
Start Time:
10.00am – all age groups will start together.
The Race briefing will take place in front of the Pavilion at 9.45am. All participants must attend. Swimmers then move down to the waters edge.
At the finish:
You will be required to take a place disc to the recorders table.
When you’ve finished the swim you are invited to the Muritai Yacht Club for prizegiving and morning tea. Certificates can be emailed to all swimmers after prizegiving (if requested).
Hot showers will be available from either the MYC or the Eastbourne swimming pool (adjacent to the yacht club).
Cups and Prizes:
Prizegiving (approximately) 11.30am, once the results have been collated.
There are two prestigious cups to be won for the following categories:
- Fastest Wharf-to-Wharf swimmer
- Fastest Eastbourne swimmer- Kenny Cup
… and fifteen prizes will be presented to the following:
- the fastest Male and Female ( Junior, Open, Veteran)
- the fastest Eastbourne Male and Female ( Junior, Open, Veteran)
- a prize to the youngest and a prize to the eldest

Results will be published on this site here : previous years.
For your safety:
We strongly recommend that children under 12 years old have a support person swimming with them!
All swimmers must wear the wharf-to-wharf swim cap. Bring a previous years cap or one will be provided in the race pack. This is a safety measure and you will not be allowed to swim unless the wharf-to-wharf swim cap is visible.
Wetsuits are not compulsory but are recommended.
